We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, and never-say-no attitude in our outside parts sales representative. As part of our team, you recognize and cultivate potential sales leads. Travel within your sales area to meet with customers and build strong relationships with both existing and new ones. You will work with the inside sales team and parts management to meet customers' daily parts needs. You'll use your skills in taking orders, quoting new products, and increasing sales for existing and new accounts.
Outside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
· Travel within your territory to meet with customers
· Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our parts offerings and how we can benefit our customers with our excellent service
· Manage and track sales and progress monthly
· Support customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales
· Constantly quoting and talking with customers to realize new sales opportunities and product lines
Outside Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications
· A self-starting personality with a passion for sales and helping customers
· Prior experience in sales, particularly in an outside sales environment
· Experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry or parts sales
· High school education or GED diploma
· 2+ years of outside parts sales experience preferred
